Sri. Sunil Chacko, Managing Director

Sri. Sunil Chacko took over the charge as Managing Director, Kerala Books and Publications Society (KBPS) on 12th May 2023. He is a graduate in Science and holds Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with specialization in marketing management. He is a fellow member (FCMA) of Institute of Cost Accountants of India. He has more than 35 years industrial experience in both manufacturing and service sector industries and held prestigious positions in reputed organizations:
  • Managing Director, Kerala State Minorities Development Finance Corporation Ltd. (KSMDFC), Kozhikode (2021-23)
  • Execute Director & CFO, Cochin International Airport Ltd. (CIAL), Nedumbassery, Ernakulam (2014-2021)
  • Director, CIAL Dutyfree & Retail Services Ltd.(2016-2021)
  • General Manager  (Finance) (2008-2011) and Executive Director (2011-2014) in Kerala Minerals and Metals  Ltd. (KMML), Chavara,  Kollam
  • Held different positions including that of Finance Controller in Travancore Cochin Chemicals Ltd.(TCC), Udyogamandal,  Cochin(1990-2008)   
  • Past employers including Cochin Refinery Ltd., Ambalamugal, Kochi and Traco Cable Company Ltd., Ernakulam. 

He was the Chairman of Southern India Regional Council of Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) during 2007-08 and member in the Southern India Regional Council of ICAI during the period 2004-2011. He was also the Chairman of Cochin Chapters of Cost Accountants in the year 2003-04. Sri. Sunil Chacko presently serving as member of Internal Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) of Institute of Cost Accountants of India. He has also served as part time/visiting faculty in prestigious institutions and presented papers in national and international conferences.

KBPS are high speed automatic machines suitable for large volume of production. Kerala Books and Publications Society have computerized Pre-Press facilities. The Society is equipped with the most moden Printing and Binding Machines.

Text Book Distribution

The Kerala Books and Publications Society (KBPS) is equipped to complete the distribution of volume-I textbooks before the school re-opening every year and subsequently Volume II and Volume III textbooks on time.
